NICOLA HARDGROVE, DVM, PT, CVA

Dr. Nicola Hardgrove received her DVM from Western University of Health Sciences in 2007.  She also earned a degree in Physical Therapy from Cal State, Long Beach in the mid 1990s and her Acupuncture license from the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association.  She is one of the very few veterinarians who is also a licensed physical therapist.  When not at Two Hands Four Paws she can be found administering to racehorses at local tracks or caring for her own race and show horses.  A pioneer in integrative veterinary medicine, Dr. Hardgrove’s comprehensive skill set make her uniquely qualified to direct the rehabilitation of our patients.


JENNIFER CONRAD, DVM, CVA

Dr. Jennifer Conrad has participated in many programs to protect and improve the lives of wild animals for over two decades, working in Namibia, Nepal and the Galapagos Islands, among other locations.  She is a graduate of the University of California, Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine and is a member of the American Veterinary Medicine Association (AVMA), the American Association of Zoo Veterinarians (AAZV), and the European Association of Zoo and Wildlife Veterinarians (EAZWV).  She works with nonprofit wildlife sanctuaries and provides humane veterinary care to animals appearing in television and movies.  Dr. Conrad is internationally renowned as the founder of The Paw Project, which rehabilitates big cats, such as lions, tigers, cougars and jaguars maimed by declawing.


MATTHEW SMITH, DVM

A graduate of Kansas State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Smith has more than 15 years of experience in small animal medicine and soft-tissue surgery.  He has worked in hospitals in Kansas, Colorado, New York, and California.  His technical skills, communication skills, and bedside manner are exemplary.  He is a frequent guest on local radio programs discussing current topics in veterinary medicine. 


ELIZABETH INGRAM, DVM

Born and raised in the Southland, with time spent in Japan, award-winning Dr. Ingram received her diploma from Western University in Pomona.  Keen technical skills and a superb bedside manner have already endeared her to our clients.  She is a published author, has worked at ASEC and Best Friends Animal Hospital, makes sushi and jogs with her dogs.  


DANA HERNANDEZ, DVM

Dr. Hernandez is a southern California native who knew from an early age she would become a veterinarian.  Upon graduation from the UC Davis school of Veterinary Medicine, she completed a rotating small animal internship in Glendale. She has practiced small animal medicine at various hospitals in Pasadena, Valencia, and the Los Angeles area. She also volunteers her time with a wildlife center and conservation organizations.  When not at work (whenever that is!), she can be found hiking with her own canine companion, playing tennis, or traveling.


JILL BAILEY, VMD, CVA

Dr. Bailey graduated from The School of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania.  She has treated everything from small animals to world class racehorses.  She is the Official Veterinarian, Racing Veterinary Positions for Southern California. Traditional Chinese Medicine is a passion and a way of life for Dr. Bailey.  She has trained with Dr. Xie of the Chi Institute in advanced small animal acupuncture and herbal and food therapy. 


NICKLAUS FOX, DVM

Dr. Fox received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 1997.  He brought his love for animals and passion for medicine to California upon graduation.   Improving client communication, continuity and awareness in addition to reducing companion animal fear and anxiety are key factors to his evaluating and tailoring your companion animal’s healthcare plan.  Dr. Fox resides in West Hollywood, CA with his precocious Chihuahuas, Vivian and Midge, and two cats, Mavis and Leonard.


JOANN BOYER, DVM, CVA, AVCA - Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine

Dr. Boyer graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary medicine in 1989.  She practiced general medicine and surgery until 1999 when she became certified in veterinary acupuncture through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. Since 2000, she has specialized in veterinary acupuncture. In 2005, she completed post graduate training in chiropractic for animals, with the final goal of The American Veterinary Chiropractic Association certification.
