Meet Matilda, the resilient and affectionate 5-year-old Chihuahua with a heart of gold. Born with luxated patella’s, Matilda faces a unique challenge that impacts her mobility, leading her to adopt a distinctive crawl. She took the first step towards a more promising future as one knee underwent surgery thanks to our foundation, with the second one scheduled six weeks after.
Despite her physical obstacles, Matilda's spirit remains unbroken. Her affectionate nature shines through, as she showers those around her with kisses. Matilda is not just a dog; she is a testament to resilience and the capacity for love in the face of adversity. After surgery, she was adopted by our very own Dr. Anna and now lives a vibrant life, fully healed, cozy, and loved.
